on 2010-08-25These baskets are the perfect solution to putting more and more plastic into the environment. It is roomy and if you need more room, carry your cloth bags inside so when you enter the store, you can put your fresh produce in this basket and use your cloth bags for larger items. It is perfect for those trips to the Farmer's Market as the vendors have to pay for the bags they distribute and like many, don't like to give away plastic bags, even if they are recycling. We all need to think "reusable baskets" like the Europeans and emulate sensible habits. To increase you own discipline, when you unload your groceries, put your cloth bags back into your Reisentel. Put it next to the door and when you go out again, just take it back to the car so it is ready when you need it! Think! Think! Think! We are an intelligent species - let's start doing the things that improve the future.

on 2010-08-22I use this basket while grocery shopping. It can hold a lot of items and is not at all flimsy like the regular reusable shopping bags. I don't ever fear the handle will break when it's loaded with heavy items after my shopping trips. And it can hold quite a bit of groceries as well. I'd definitely recommend the product!

on 2010-08-11Bought this item in the Rasterdots Blue and it is gorgeous (yes, even nicer than the picture).
In Germany you will see these baskets all the time and there is a good reason for that.
Shopping is very easy with them, the handle is soft and comfortable even when the basket is loaded up and it is ultra-convenient, you shop in the store, and at check out they can load it all back into the basket and off you go. Convenient and stylish, too.
LOVE IT! Just the right size as well. You can insert the spines and it stands up on its own or leave them out so you can collapse the bag, which will hold up nicely when full. I have tried both and switch back and forth depending on need. Couldn't be happier.

on 2010-07-12well i have to say it is a great product. it is a lot bigger then i thought it was going to be which is a good thing. i live in germany so it was a must since you have to pay for bags if you want them at the store and you bag your own items.i loved that there was a huge selection of colors to choose from.
