on 2010-07-20Been using three of these for around 16 hours a day for 6 months now with no troubles. They are turned on and not turned off during that period though- I have no idea how they perform when constantly turned on and off, which is not how CFLs should be run anyway btw.
These bulbs are large physically, heavy, bright, very blue/white/daylight-ish, and they represent an excellent value.

on 2010-07-06Very bright, with a warm 2700-2900K temperature light. I bought this for a stand lamp for the home office and it makes for a very bright work environment. Note well, the home application for this CFL will be limited as the bulb is comically large.

on 2010-06-21Again....there are NO MEASUEMENTS. If you call their customer service they will tell you that their lamps are not meant to be used in recessed fixtures but do you see this disclaimer anywhere? You won't find it on the box either. Some of them also take a second or so to come on to acceptable brightness.

on 2010-05-19Well, this is not a petite little bulb, and I would suggest anyone that wants one to check the dimensions before you buy -- won't fit in any enclosures where there is a tight space for the bulb to fit into. That said, for my application (lighting a kitchen from a ceiling fixture), it works perfectly. The light output is very, very bright, and very, very blue -- it really does nearly perfectly emulate bright sunlight. It lights up our kitchen very well -- one bulb can light up several hundred square feet.
Overall, great product, great price, and great light output, but it's a little large in size. Not necessarily a downside, but be aware.
