The KINTREX IRT0421 Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer with Laser is designed to measure temperatures accurately from a distance. Lightweight, compact, and easy to use, the IRT0421 can safely measure hot, hazardous, or hard-to-reach surfaces without damaging them. The IRT0421 has an advanced and highly accurate infrared sensor with a Distance to Spot Ratio of 12:1. It uses two AAA batteries instead of the 9-volt battery commonly found in less capable units. With its low-voltage, application-specific integrated circuit, the thermometer's battery life is increased by up to 60-percent.
This infrared thermometer provides accurate readings over a broad range of temperatures from -76 to 932 degrees Fahrenheit (-60 to 500 degrees Celsius). It displays both current temperature and maximum temperature on the bright backlit LCD display.
Featuring an ergonomic pistol-grip design and rugged ABS construction for industrial environments, the IRT0421 comes with a nylon holster for easy storage and transportation. This versatile non-contact infrared thermometer has been designed for a broad range of uses, including automotive diagnostics, HVAC service, electrical troubleshooting, cooking and food preparation, and hobbyist activities.
