on 2009-11-25I saved over $1,200 by purchasing this item vice having an electician wire, bury the wire-cables underground, and hook-up a control switch to my outdoor shed. With the remote, I now can control the power to the shed without leaving the comfort of my home. Also, I saved plenty of money and now have an upset electrician!

The package consisted of one transmitter, two grounded remote control switches for the regular grounded wall outlet, and a 12V battery.
The transmitter has 2 buttons corresponding to the labeled remote control switches.
I installed the included 12V battery into the transmitter (kind of easy).
I plugged one of two remote control switches into a grounded outlet (easy).
I plugged a lamp into the remote control switch (easy).
I pushed the button on the transmitter to turn on the lamp (easy). I pushed the same button to turn it off (easy).
I was amazed that it worked without needing to teach the transmitter and receiver (plug and play).
The total cost including shipping and handling was just over $12 per switch (low cost).
I installed the switch on the top outlet which gave me room to use the bottom outlet for something else.
The power rating for each switch is 1200 Watts or 10 Amps (High Power)!
The switch uses a mechanical relay so I was able to use it for fluorescent lights. This also means it can be used for just about anything else.
The grounded remote control switch is a plus for electrical protection.
I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for two remote control grounded switches, plug and play, low cost, high power, with a single transmitter and an included 12V battery!
